      - Competently designed, planned and implemented Technical & Vocational Education and Training (TVET) of three districts in Sindh Province- Assesed training needs evaluation reports and implemented Training for Rural Economic Empowerment (TREE) model- Provided market linkages to local artisans for promoting work in international markets- Supervised and monitored project at every level to ensure quality of project- Ensured development of mobile vocational training centres to motivate differently abled individuals, women and those with no education to attend trainings and learn new skills - Effcienlty undertook responsibility of supervising procurement process of toolkits for trainees and also monitored bidding process of goods- Adminsitered and planned capacity building workshops for team members- Monitored financial stauts of project and maintained project inovices received from donorsKey Achievements:- Trained 31,002 trainees out of which more than 50% were women- Successfully arranged soft loans from microfinance institutions - Third party evaluation conducted by Institute of Business Administration (IBA) revealed that more than 65% graduates of this program were self-employed Show less - Worked in close proxmimity with coordination committee on child labor issues under chairmanship of deputy commisssioner of district governement Sukkur- Successfully designed and implemented TVET for 2,600 trainees working as child labor during that time- Conducted training needs assessment exercises in 11 Union Councils of district Sukkur and screened cadidates under pre-assessment process - Coordinated with print and electronic media to create awareness amongst citizens on child labor issues and to take strict action against violators - Monitored project and evaluated performance against budget utilization, training material, and also involved in technical audits- Actively collaborated with training mentors and district government for smooth implementation of project- Developed training curriculum and competency standards of project Key Achievements:- Trained 1.319 young boys and 1,281 young girls engaged in worst form of child labor- Conducted labor market survey in 10 major and life-threatening sectors where child labor is common in Sukkur- Punjab Governement launched similar program for 5 years in 4 other districts Jhang, Jhelum, Layyah and Chakwal under capacity building initiatives for Rs. 180 million Show less - Effectively conducted training of Government Officials to aware them about Disaster Risk Reduction Management at UC, Taluka and District level- Purpose of this training was to enable Government Officials to formulate Disaster Management Committees (DMCs) in times of disaster - Identified and trained deserving flood affected youth for employable skills. - Actively monitored entire program and also obtained participants feedback during course of training. - Ensured that feedback was incorporated to improve traning standard and to meet participant’s expectations Show less
