  IT Hardware Specialist/ATM Engineer

  o Our ATMs were performing slowly, which I later discovered was due to the EMV Master card configurations needing the new version of the operating system and platforms. I was in charge of upgrading the ATMs from Windows 7 to Windows 10, along with providing a timeline and estimated cost. With the help of my team members, I sourced quotations from reliable suppliers and successfully completed the project by upgrading three models of ATMs, including NCR, WINCOR, and DIEBOLD, across the country within six months, less than the given time of nine months. To reduce the time taken, I created images for similar models and did the restoration. o I noticed that jobs were being done without proper records, so I took the initiative to design a job checklist for the FDH Organization, which is still being used. I presented an idea to the FDH CEO, to reduce the number of brands of note counters and adopt standardization, which reduced eight models to two models, reducing service costs by 70%. o To reduce costs, the organization sent me to competency training for BPS G&D C4/C5 Training, so we can fix the machines in-house, reducing the contractor cost by 35%.o I also presented an idea to the FDH CEO to establish a separate branch that handles the procurement of maintenance parts and ATMs, which is currently in the advanced stages of implementation.
