  Under Supervision - I was engaging with clients/patients and their family members/informants in the Outpatient Department as well as the In-Patient Department, taking case history and conducting Mental Status Examinations, taking therapy sessions and planning treatment, making case presentations and presenting seminars on assigned topics. I was part of the team that facilitated the support group for family members of patients diagnosed with schizophrenia which included psycho-educating them about the illness.I was posted under Mr. Pallav Bonerjee (consultant clinical neuropsychologist) for the entire duration of my internship. I conducted Neuropsychological Assessments to assess the cognitive functions of patients, prepared the assessment reports and also conducted cognitive retraining sessions for those identified as having cognitive deficits based on the assessment previously conducted.   Counsellor on iCALL Psychosocial Helpline, a field action project at TISS.iCALL offers telephone, email and chat based counselling services to those in emotional and/or psychological distress. I have, in my tenure as a counsellor attended to over 800 telephone calls, 200 emails and 6 chat based counselling sessions dealing with a wide range of concerns ranging from academic, career related concerns, relationship concerns, gender and sexuality concerns, as well as crisis intervention involving abuse and suicidality. I have additionally contributed to the UNFPA funded project for the training of health counsellors in Madhya Pradesh who are part of the Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakam (RKSK) health programme initiated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in the capacity of a research assistant where I helped develop content and training modules.
