  I manage the Catering, Vending and Cleaning Services of the Pharmaceutical site for Aesica Queenborough Ltd. The Client changed in 2007 which has resulted in a need to reduce the subsidy across all services, this was achieved in line with the expectations. We also moved the contract from Cost Plus to Fixed Price with success. The cleaning team achieved runner-up in the Services Awards last year and we have helped the Client to pass several audits that has helped them gain new business with high profile companies which helps secure the future of the site. Supervision, training and motivation of different teams ensuring compliance and financial achievement in line with set budgets. Control of day to day services, staff, training, auditing, hospitality, cash handling and control and associated adhoc requirements. Client meetings and financial analysis in preparation for annual Client and Sodexo budgets.A couple of these sites were under performing and my role was to turn them around and make them financially stable and profitable, there were some big challenges but success was achieved.I also worked as a relief manager for a time, providing support and cover for a number of sites in Kent.Initially I started with Russell and Brand, then Marriott, onto Gardener Merchant and finally Sodexo, in total I have over 22 years of continuous employment, starting as a food service assistant and working my way very quickly to unit manager within 2 years of starting.
