      Project Support Assistant - Volunteer

      My role is to provide support for the organisations training activities, including any off site support needed by the trainers during their sessions. Supporting the trainers in their day to day duties, which allows them to deliver ILT training to a variety of different customers from the public and private education sector. I am responsible for researching and contacting various venues, checking and costing their facilities in relation to room suitability, IT equipment and catering arrangements for the organisations training sessions. I collate this data and pass it onto our project manager who then uses this information when organizing training sessions/events. I am also in charge of making sure training materials are photocopied and ready to take out by the training officers. Equipment is ready, working and of the right quantity for trainers to take out to an event. I troubleshoot any issues that arise and find solutions to these as efficiently and quickly as possible to support the work of the trainers and the organisation.I use appropriate office systems to maintain records and produce documents, including training materials as and when necessary. I work as part of a team, but I am also expected to work independently using my own initiative as necessary to meet the needs of the company and achieve tight deadlines. Show less

      Junior PPC Account Manager

      I was previously employed as a Junior PPC Account Manager for the digital marketing company Active Win. The role included responsibilities such as managing key PPC accounts across Facebook, Bing and Google for Active Wins large client Betfred. Further responsibilities that I held at Active Win included using Excel in order to report on the performance in reaching key performance indicators. My role at Active Win required me to have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, as I had to analyse large amounts of data on a daily basis. I was also responsible for creating and testing adverts in order to determine their effectiveness in reach and conversion to further target key demographics. I have excellent Excel data analysis skills and I enjoy working with large amounts of data. Show less

      PPC Analyst

      I was employed as a PPC analyst at a full service marketing agency in Leeds. Here my role was to maintain and manage PPC accounts for a variety of clients with particular emphasis on retail. I managed PPC accounts for Brora and Bollards Direct whilst also assisting account managers in the management of larger clients such as Wolverine and VF. During my time at Stickyeyes I managed PPC activity across Google, Facebook & Bing. The clients I worked on had ranging budgets from between £10,000 - £40,000 a month. I have experience working across a wide variety of biddable channels including Google shopping, Remarketing, Display and Search activity. A key part of my role at Stickyeyes was to research and implement new innovative PPC solutions that we can use to help our clients grow and increase their overall reach. A key example is using new features on Google Adwords such as Google sponsored promotions, Instagram on Facebook and new features for remarketing strategy. Whilst working at Stickyeyes I have developed a vast array of new skills that are particular to retail PPC such as PLA activity. I have wide knowledge in the implementation, management and optimisation of Google Shopping campaigns. Other key areas that I developed during my time at Stickyeyes is learning how to accurately develop full strategic marketing plans for our clients. A strong part of my role was to report and liaise with my clients. I held weekly conference calls with clients in order to report on PPC progress, discuss new opportunities in the market and answer any queries they have on the PPC strategy being implemented. I developed my interpersonal skills through being in an environment where dealing with clients is a common occurrence. I also developed strong data analytical skills during my time at Stickyeyes.       I was employed as a PPC Account Executive at MEC Manchester. During my time at MEC I had the opportunity to work on some high spending PPC accounts including Jet 2 and Swinton Insurance. My key responsibilities were to ensure that PPC strategy was delivered to our clients efficiently and to the highest possible standard based on the industry benchmark. I gained experience in managing budgets ranging from £100,000 per month to £1,000,000 during this time. I had the opportunity at MEC to branch out my PPC understanding from purely a retail approach and move in to new industries such as insurance, travel and real estate. I also had the opportunity to implement a whole host of PPC strategy during my time here including GSP campaigns, highly targeted geo targeted campaigns and in depth audience strategies. One of the key things I have developed during my time at MEC is automation strategy, I gained an in depth understanding of SMART bidding strategies and how to efficiently implement these automated across multitude of different campaign types.
