Investigating proposed faults in the Auckland region, which are important for determining potential seismic sources and also understanding possible structural constraints on the AVF. Reprocessing and/or interpreting unpublished marine seismic data, investigating the potential for offshore fault imaging using a Compressed High Intensity Radar Pulse (CHIRP), and additional onshore work with a gravimeter.

My Honours dissertation was a relative gravity survey performed independently in the Firth of Thames, across the Hauraki Rift. Ambiguous results from prior seismic survey raised questions around the rift initiation model. This survey indicates that the original model was correct and data has been submitted to the Primary Gravity Network.       Completed 1 year as Bowman at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron Youth Training Programme on Elliot 7s in a four person crew. I was part of crews that won the Kawau Cup and came second for the Lion Cup Youth Match Racing Regatta. I also won an unofficial award for Most Outgoing First Year.

In the lead up the America’s Cup the business grew significantly, requiring a dedicated Operations Manager. I carried on with this role after the Cup, improving business processes and co-ordinating a strategic review of the business. I created and manage content for the website and social media platforms. Additionally, I helped to create the merchandising component of the business.
