  Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) aka 'Tapping' is a self-help tool that builds resilience to stress, fears and adversity. It is considered 'Mind Acupressure' as it works to calm the nervous system. When our nervous system becomes activated we are no longer able to think logically and our body moves into fight/flight or freeze mode to steer us away from a (perceived) threat. This is what we call “stressed” and logic is ‘offline’. An overly activated nervous system almost guarantees unnecessary reactivity, but through no fault of our own. By using EFT correctly, our systems learn to stay calmer, allowing for a larger window of tolerance to handle conflict and adversity. And let’s be real, most of us could use some relief. I teach how to use EFT effectively and personalize it to unique need. I am trauma informed which helps me see where and how unhealthy patterns developed and how they are running in the background without awareness. With EFT, the nervous system stays at bay which allows working on the past without feeling retraumatized. Since I teach EFT, my clients are suited to take the wheel and drive their own path without needing my services for years. Simply put, it’s the difference between handling adversity with grace and opportunity verses wanting to fight, flee or detach. Opportunity then is viewed as a growth moment rather than conflict caused by someone or something else.
