  • I help manage the large amounts of data we keep on site, through incremental and immediate backups and creation of file sets and shares.• I am first-, second- and third-line diagnostics for issues our employees have with applications, networking, software and hardware. I have two separate companies to look after, with around 60 employees in one and 40 employees in the other. If the amount of tickets becomes too much, I delegate tasks to the other engineers.• I configure and monitor web filtering proxies (Squid Proxy 4.4 on CentOS 8 box), I am also the ESET and WatchGuard AuthPoint administrator for our company.• Our company uses the Office 365 Suite, in which I have excellent troubleshooting abilities.• I am very comfortable troubleshooting software, hardware and networking technical issues as the role I am in calls for adaptability and a very quick response time to issues that arise.• I build physical computers and virtual machines from scratch for the company, mostly Windows 10, Windows 7, Linux and Ubuntu. From the physical hardware, cable design and management to creating the user on the Active Directory Domain Controller and giving them the correct permissions, right through to end user application configuration and licence management.• I configure and maintain a wide range of applications and devices for the company. Such as network printers, VoIP phones, Microsoft Office Suite, Exchequer, video and audio applications, 2D and 3D applications, as well as many more.• I am extremely people driven and I get huge gratification from liaising with the client to resolve their issues for them.• I am very adaptable and driven, my role in the company sometimes calls for a lot of manual labour which I am more than happy to do.
