      * Whilst in this role I planned, delivered and reviewed safe and effective exercise programs for cardiac rehabilitation patients to improve aerobic capacity and physical well being. * Patient exercise programs are tailored to suit each individual, taking into consideration contraindications, co-morbidities and disabilities to avoid trauma. * I monitored patients exercise programs through signs, symptoms and through social interaction on an individual level, which can often require reacting/adapting quickly to emergency situations. * I was involved in a number of referral programmes (GP angina referral, weight management referrals, COPD referrals, diabetes & hypertension). * As this role was of a sensitive nature, I had to be trustworthy, empathic, responsible and professional. * I keep up to date with current trends in the area and the development of newer pathways or optimal exercise programs. * I have been able to balance social skills, professionalism and dependability to ensure high standards and ensure comfortable situations for all patients/clients. * I was responsible for taking various measurements such as ECG traces, heart rate, blood glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, BMI and waist circumference measurements.
