Participated in COE/MOU Verification inspections ( Arrival, Periodic and Operational Readiness) in all Republic of South Sudan States including County Operating Base (COB) throughout the UNMISS Mission. 2. Coordinated with all Military/Police Contingents in the UNMISS COE office regarding COE/MOU Verification inspection Reports (VR). 3. Liaised and Coordinated with Commanding Officer of Military/Police contingents visiting the UNMISS COE office including Chief Logistics Officer. 4. Acted as a COE focal point for the Military/Police contingents personnel visiting the UNMISS COE office for meetings and briefings on COE issues. 5. Received and analysed the MSR (Monthly Serviceability Report) of the Major equipment from the UNMISS Military/Police contingents then Reported the status of the Equipment to the respective COE Team leader. 6. Updated the MSR (Monthly Serviceability Report) of the Military/Police Contingents in the COE database. 7. Assessed and Advised the TCC/PCC for the betterment of the security of their Camp.   1. Planed the COE/MOU arrival, Operational Readiness, Repatriation , Periodic and Spot inspections of formed military/police units to verify by physical inspections that the T/PCC and the UN are in compliance with their agreed responsibilities, as detailed in the MOU. 2. Served as point of contact for contingent(CLO and CO) personnel on daily COE and Administrative matters. 3. Conducted arrival, operational readiness, periodic and Repatriation inspections of formed units at Kinshasa, Kisangani, Kananga, Beni and Lubumbashi AOR. 4. Drafted inspection plan in consultation with contingents and sent to Mission Level for the approval. 5. Raised inspection verification reports (VR) in UCM database and process them for approval.6. Coordinated with CLO and CO of the units, staff of the Force Commander/Police Commissioner and DMS office to get the signature of the approved VR. 7. Provided briefing to formed units on COE/MOU related matters. 8. Maintained, within e-COE database, inventories of COE held by all assigned formed units. 9. Oversaw issuance of all UN owned equipment and UN provided services to assigned formed units and reflect impacts on self-sustained categories in verification reports. 10. Conducted routine physical security inspections of T/PCC camps and advised to rectify the shortfalls of the security of the Camps. 11. Conducted inspections as a team leader with Military Coordinator and Police Coordinator and national staff. 12. Reported loss or damage to COE that could be subject to reimbursement by the UN. 13. Briefed inspection teams on their duties and responsibilities appertaining to the inspection and received necessary input for the preparation of the Verification Inspection Report. 14. Maintained up-to-date details of major and minor self-Sustainment equipment in the COE Database. 15. Provided training to the Military/Police COE Inspector about inspection process and to enter the data on the system and to draft the VR. Show less
