      Served as tool owner in the metrology and quality group, also known as contamination-free manufacturing (CFM), in charge of developing and optimizing scan recipe as well as conducting preventative maintenance and repairs for two KLA-Tencor SP1s, seven SP1 DLSs, and two SP2s, two Camtek Eagles, and one Camtek Falcon Assume accountability for scan recipe creation and optimization as a backup owner for two KLA-Tencor 2800s and one 2810 Proactively determine sources of special and common cause variability in process performance related to in-line defectivity through Six Sigma methodologies.Accomplishments:Transferred in two Camtek Eagles to be used for final outgoing inspection, created brand new automated systems for them and implemented continuous improvement projects Generated over $450K in selling tools as well as cost avoidance of $70K yearly through phasing out obsolete KLA-Tencor Surfscan 6xx0 toolset with 9 tools by convincing process engineers of the benefits of the newer SP1 and SP2s while transferring with them all quals and documenting all work as part of the engineering change management.Averaged $90k per year in cost avoidance in tool repair and maintenance by troubleshooting and repairing tools with second-source and repaired parts. Determined opportunities on the two SP2s to increase availability and utilization through user training, process improvement, software enhancement, and installation of an additional loadport, which allowed for efficient queuing of product for inspection. Demonstrated proficiency with KLA-Tencor SPX toolset by creating recipes and repairing tools, and documenting the procedures for future tool owners. Acted as a member of a yield improvement task force responsible for identifying multiple environmental contamination issues in the fab and kicked off a fab-wide audit in searching and resolving numerous issues for product yield improvement.
