  A 3 year bachelor's program which candidates gain the theoretical as well as practical knowledge and skills required to become a commercial pilot. University of Tromsø School of Aviation is a fully integrated flight training academy, and in addition to flight training and ATPL-theory, students also do university-subjects on mathematics, physics, business economics, logistics, organizational leadership and human factors.

Arranger for Norways Engineer- and Technologyorganization(NITO), department UIB Geoscience - based on geology and geophysics - is the study of the earth and its origin. The subject covers the physical and chemical processes which occur both on the earth's surface as well as the earth's interior.
