The objective of this initiative is to prepare a fully integrated model that will improve the Price and Cost of material price forecasting processes across Purchases and Finance, to allow:End to end, integrated and Global forecast capability,Simple – Flexible – Efficient – Reliable processes.Optimal Support & Maintenance using SAP BI as database and SAP BI-IP as the technology for forecasting, analytic's and reporting.Role & Contribution:•Proposing use of BI-IP for forecasting process by becoming the integral part of the business requirement gathering sessions.•Architecting an end to end Technical Model in SAP BI-7 starting from a server establsment (BI-JAVA server for BI-7 IP functionality), connection between SAP Portal, RFC calls and the BI IP cubes.•Leading on an average a 15 member team through the entire Project life cycle starting from Architecting the design till the go Live of the project.•Creation of Planning applications using Integrated Planning. SNS chronicle is the project to eliminate this, not in use, ERP Systems. However these systems have huge amount of data stored as well as archived which need to be produced while tax audits and any such future requirements. Hence P&G has decided to move all this Data in a global BI Server called CHRONICLE. Thus all the transactions run from R/3 will be run via Reports. This project involves elimination of N61 System.Role & Contribution:•Preparing the Techincal Specification and the Data flow Model to develop the BI Reports for standard R/3 transactions of Purchasing, Process Execution and Quality Management and Finance Module, thus designing the entire flow right from the tables used in the transaction till fetching the data of those tables via BW report•Extraction and Loading of huge amount of data of about 1.5 tera bytes using Generic extractors build on views and Function modules.•Developing info-objects, Info-source, Data-source, Transfer rules, Info package, Info cubes, Update Rules, ODS, Info-Package, Start Routine, Process chains, WAD Templates.•Writing Transfer and Update Routines to incorporate Complex Logic's required to Replicate Standard R/3 Transactions•Generation of BI Reports for standard R/3 Transactions of Purchasing, Process Execution and Quality Management and Finance Module, with only transaction Codes in hand and thus acquiring considerable amount of functional knowledge.•Worked extensively on BEx Analyzer and created Queries using Variables, Calculated and Restricted Key Figures, local and global structures, conditions, exceptions, filters and free characteristics.Creating RRI to display Item Level Data and jumps to other transactions using Generic, Variable, Parameter and HTML Assignment Methods.
