I was the only English major taking part in an exchange program for engineers from TU Braunschweig, which explains my being erroneously categorized as a senior, instead of a graduate student. Nevertheless, I took advantage of a variety of courses that would provide a more solid basis for literary studies but were not offered in Germany.
