      I managed the full spectrum of operational activities for the federal economic development agency which included 3 regional offices and a budget of over $30M. Implemented change management strategy, the organizational structure and operational aspects of the new agencies three regional offices. Engaged with aboriginal groups, Territorial Governments, other federal departments and non-government organizations on the mandate and operations of the agency. Strategic planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating of short to long-term work, including engagement strategy for new programs and operational plans for the three regional offices and headquarters operations. As part of the senior management team for a new Agency, I was an active member and have been involved in the budgeting cycle including requests for interim supply, supplementary budget estimates and re-profiling of program funds. I have experience with internal and external audit exercises including the development and implementation of action plans to address deficiencies. Ensured proper accountability and management of operations and grants and contributions budgets. I was a founding member of the Contract Review Committee for the Agency, we reviewed all Requests for Proposal and small, medium and large contracts for conformance with the Financial Administration Act and Treasury Board contracting policies.
