This included taking the old MySQL database and upgrading it to the newer standard, and then installing the new cluster of dialers and web-servers for production use.-Install, configure, and maintain Xenserver 5 virtualization hosts, as well as guests running in both HVM and PV modes.-Time Verifier script: wrote a perl script to SSH to each Linux server and get the date and time used to verify that the time has been successfully changed on each Linux server.-Active Directory Forest Trust: worked with an affiliate school to create a Forest -Trust between our two organizations in Active Directory. In order for this to work, I created a RRAS site-to-site L2TP VPN for our organizations.-Squid caching and proxy server: implemented a caching proxy at the edge of the network in order to speed up page loading times and save Internet bandwidth.-Single Sing-On solution for Wordpress: Integrated Apache with Active Directory to authenticate employees to the web-server. Then wrote a Wordpress plug-in to log the user into Wordpress automatically based on those credentials (and to also keep them away from the Wordpress administration page). Show less
