Collectively, they formed a class of 150. My rural school had little to offer in technological advancements, however, it held its own competitively against other local schools by instilling in its students lessons in hard work and versatility.

      I mainly served as a delivery driver for Pizza Hut (Hallrich Inc). I worked with customers, prepared food, deposited money, and handled sanitation. At times, I trained new members, helped with dine-in services, and went to to others stores to help out when they were low on staff.

      I conducted monthly meetings, collaborated with the college and Dean, and organized fundraisers and events. I assisted in budgeting and outreach events. I was in charge of taking the council to the National Association of Engineeeing Student Council conference. I attended regional and national online web calls for NAESC. I also oversaw and delegated all council activity. My role was to represent the Aerospace Systems Engineering class and provide guidance to the new leadership team My role was to develop communications with the college, create and oversee the Outreach Committee, and organize fundraisers. I was a part of the redevelopment of our council as we rewrote the constitution, created a freshman council, developed better national recognition and involvement, and created the council newsletter. I co-wrote the College of Engineering newsletter, attended 2 National Engineering Student Council conferences, and provided support to represent the Aerospace Systems Engineering students of Akron

    • Akronauts Rocket Design Team

      The primary job of Aerostructure Lead is to oversee the design of the team's rocket. Along with my co-lead, we orchestrated team meetings, taught our members rocketry and design fundamentals, and oversaw the development of our team's rocket. I have made several components in the machine shop, taken role as a primary assembler for the rocket, and discussed the rocket's components at design presentations. A major role was writing the vehicle section for the PDR, CDR, FRR, and PLAR which included description, testing, analysis, and modeling. Other roles include making meeting presentations, collaborating with the other systems teams, and making design decisions for the rocket.My team received 3rd in overall design in the country at the NASA Student Launch Competition as well as 3rd overall.       The National Association of Engineering Student Councils is an organization that dedicates itself in promoting advocacy, collaboration, and leadership. Established in 1983, it unites the nation's top engineering students to work together in achieving NAESC's goal. My job is to communicate with potential new councils and hold meetings to inform them about NAESC. It is my responsibility to help expand NAESC in the Midwest region and keep records of my communications.

      I worked between two departments for this rotation. My time divided between in the Ram Air Turbine group (RAT) and the Generator department. I assisted the RAT team in preparing for our Critical Design Review, developed superelements for modal analysis, and did heat cycle plasticity analysis . With the Generators, I wrote reports for generator assemblies, designed static test stands, and did stack-up analysis.

      I worked as an interim engineer at Safran, where I got to tolerance and design tools for building parts for aircraft. I got to work with motors and accessories for planes and helicopters and test certain functionalities of them. I utilized Solidworks, NX, Autodesk, and Microsoft Office in order to model, tolerance, and these investigate parts.

My role was to help assist the College of Engineering in student visit days, scholar days, and senior visit days.       I worked in the Advanced Manufacturing Division where I researched generative design processes, optimized topological features, and investigated future design methodology. I prepared and loaded CAD models in 3-D printers (Ultimakers, Lulzbot, MarkForged, Mojo, Titan, Fortus, and Formulabs). I also designed and made tooling for Operations Engineers for floor work.
