•Performed several facade inspections and designed new exterior wall openings.•Oversaw restoration of various concrete garage slab systems.•Designed the framing for a column removal in a three-story parking garage. The design included two 40' long steel girders ‘sistered’ around existing concrete girders. This project also required temporary framing for jacking forces to minimize dead load deflections, seat connections, joist attachments, and adjacent column reinforcing. •Designed steel framing for a new metal mesh facade system. This project included complex field conditions with emergency reinforcing for several columns with over 80% section loss. •Analyzed existing garage framing to install auto lifts. Slab reinforcement required for the concentrated point loading of the auto lifts. •Designed a vaulted sidewalk slab retrofit and replaced deteriorated beams in accordance with NYC building code.•Designed a penthouse expansion for an existing 30 story building using light gage steel. Additional roof framing capacity was recaptured by removing the existing roof topping slab; rebuilt with a lightweight structural foam.•Designed a cellar expansion for an existing four-story brownstone building. This project included new lightwell retaining walls and supporting an existing pavilion structure. Show less
