      Investigated the influence of preventative behaviors on psychopathology using the Epidemiological Catchment Area survey. Researched the influence of sociocultural and developmental influences on disordered eating attitudes and behaviors in Asian and Asian American women. Researched and conceptualized a new framework associated with Asian American health issues. Created new graduate course, “Ethnicity, Health & Health Care.”

Coordinated the 1st Annual Mental Healthy Cities Forum for the Asia-Pacific Region attended by President Ma and 17 mayors of Taiwan. Worked with leaders from Australia, Hong Kong and the U.S. to implement mindfulness and mentally healthy practices with the intention to make systemic changes in leadership. • Lobbied legislators in the Federal Government to reconsider proposed changes to the Bureau of Health’s organization.
