I worked in the maintenance team, analyzing software issues and writing bugfixes. This also involved managing releases, release notes, and writing tools.I also acted as an escalation point for production issues, working to resolve them quickly and safely. Lead a team of support engineers, provided deep analysis of issues.Wrote tools to assist in the diagnosis of issuesWrote tools to easily connect to client environments. More in-depth analysis of issues. Resolved issues caused by software, hardware and user error.

As part of a devops focused scrum team, I worked across both feature and ownership/maintenance work. Notable things include liaising with an external team on the requirements for creating a new self-service password recovery application in angular, while driving the technical side for how this application fit into a complex solution, providing new API endpoints, etc. Then, working in the IdentityServer space, working on implementing SAML authentication when logging into our login screen. As part of a devops focused software development team, I've worked on everything from server deployment and maintenance to writing, maintaining, building and deploying software on those systems. The main skills improved in my time here are c#, powershell, and debugging. Other periphery skills include languages like ruby, javascript, frameworks like angular2 etc, and using various deploy methodologies, from write your own to using Puppet, Jenkins, docker, helm, and kubernetes..

I worked on a scrum team maintaining / developing an application for medical practitioners to manage patients, and store records for how they provided care.Apart from performing bugfixes, and implementing small features, the main thing I worked on was a move from paper to digital handover between shifts. This included leading the technical requirements from what they did on paper, and designing and implementing a MVP solution, which we implemented over the course of around 9 months. Due to the complexity of the existing solution and it being healthcare, we had to spend that amount of time to deliver something that was able to be used by the teams, and not the typical vertical slice of a MVP solution - as well as enough test automation to ensure quality. Since then, it’s been iterated on and grown more feature rich / performant as per typical scrum practices. Show less
