  Department manager. (9 engineers, 6 blue collar and 3 apprentices)Manager for Global Welding Process Expert Team.Member of Global Advanced Manufacturing Team. Acting as project manager for different imporovement projects to facilitate a steady increase in production effeciency. Some projects revolve around automation such as robotic cells. In this cases we design the cell and build it from scratch to preserve know-how and ease maintenance and availability issues. Other project of mine has been implementation of AGVs in the factory, building automated storage and goods entrance area. Automated handling of empty pallets with sorting of cardboard, plastics, collars and pallets that must be discarded.Was also project manager for the new Compact Sub-Station factory in Skien.My department are always responsible for installing new machines or upgrade the ones we have. I am responsible for all the maintenance on the machines in the factory and communication towards suppliers. I also have a cooperating role against the technology center who designs products to try to ensure quality and that the industrialization part will be taken into the design from the beginning.
