Matthew is currently leading the Jervis Bay Road to Sussex Inlet Road Project (approx. (20kms) as part of the Princes Highway Upgrade Program (PHUP, $9b). The project consists of dual carriageway highway upgrade (online and offline including town bypasses) with improved road safety, connectivity and accessibility to the south coast of NSW.

      Camellia Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility Project | $1b | Sydney Water | Feb 24 – Aug 24Matthew was able to lead a team to reduce project capex costs and Sydney Water liability by approx. $80m within a 6-month period. He was tasked with leading an opportunity to explore sourcing excess tunnel material to encapsulate the 22ha site as an alternate land remediation option. Matthew led the team to obtain funding approval for the opportunity (delivery business case), sourced and procured suppliers and delivery Contractors (NEC4 Option B), developed environmental approvals (REF), managed site access and investigations (land contamination testing, geotechnical, utilities, survey) and directly liaised with previous land holders during the NSW compulsory land acquisition process for the site. He also led and secured the funding for the project through a Sydney Waters Governance Assurance Process. Show less Ryde Hospital Redevelopment | $479m | Health Infrastructure | May 23 – Oct 23 Matthew was a core member of the Project Management team working on the brown Project through the planning phases, procurement, and project delivery. Key roles included:– Provide leadership, collaboration, and direction to the wider Integrated Project Team (IPT)– Provide updates to the Executive Steering Committee (ESC) and key planning project groups on a monthly basis, including project status (deliverable, cost, program, risk)– Manage the Early Works Contractor ($5m) through to contract Completion (GC21) and SSD Conditions of Consents– Support the administration, evaluation, negotiation, and award of the Main Works Contract (two phase ECI Procurement – DEED Agreement / GC21)– Lead and support elements of an alternative staging strategy, in collaboration with the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) to develop an affordable procurement strategy (ECI award) and apply for an increase in government project funding Show less

      Matthew currently works as the Senior Project Manager on the Northern Suburbs Ocean Outfall Sewer (NSOOS) Renewal Project – Section 1 (Approx. $500m) within the Avoid Fail North Program Delivery Team. The NSOOS is approx. 28km in length and is currently at its end of design life.
