  Reconfigured the entire yard into a load type configuration and renamed the trailer pads accordingly, purchased 13 brand new yard trucks, changed service vendors from Yard Truck Specialists to York Nationalease, reset the YMS to a more efficient configuration for tasking, set safety processes and an auditing metric to monitor those processes, hired and trained more (experienced) jockeys, hired and trained the current yard manager.

  In my new role as Regional Fleet Manager for the East Region, I will own field fleet responsibilities in states of PA/MD/NY/NJ. My other focus areas include nationwide ownership of a strategic purchasing program with our vendors and maintenance service providers, creating and supporting a Lift-gate Center of Excellence (LGCOE) program, OSHA, DOT, and 5S standardization, being a Driver / internal partner liaison and building and rolling out a Fleet reliability / reliability scorecard. I am excited to be back in the Transportation organization of the company - and to be a part of the endeavor to create our brand, improve our processes, and aid in building capability in our team.
