I specialized in helping organizations achieve simple end-user computing environments utilizing products from Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop and VMware core products including vSphere and Horizon View. I also was responsible for implementing data center technologies from EMC, which included VNX, RecoverPoint DataDomain, and Avamar.

  • Responsible for design and implementation of end users devices through automation. • Designed / Upgraded / Administered Citrix XenApp. This upgrade included upgrading XenApp from 5.0 to 6.5, replacing WebInterface with Citrix Storefront and replacing Citrix Secure Gateway with Netscaler Gateway.• Implemented McAfee ePO 5.1 to centralize management of all McAfee Enterprise products. These products included: Virus Scan, HIPS (Host Intrusion Protection), Disk Encryption, SIEM Collector.• Converted enterprise from Microsoft WSUS for enterprise patching to Dell KACE K1000 management appliance. KACE K1000 appliance now patches all sever and end-user devices in the enterprise. This included Microsoft and Apple Operating Systems. • Designed / Implemented Enterprise Print Management and Reporting. Solution utilized technology from PrinterLogic. This project increased end-user printing speeds by over 30%, enabled management to make more informed decisions regarding procurement, and enabled level two technicians to be proactive versus reactive for printer maintenance.
