  Debating Coach

  As a debating coach I work with a small team of coaches to train and organize high school debating teams. In 2021 I am coaching the 8.2 team, and this involves communicating with the team and their parents to prepare debates and train the students. It is also important to ensure that the students are not feeling overwhelmed and are enjoying debating, which has taught me valuable leadership and team management skills.

  I am starting a new role as a Technical Expert on the Genius Bar. This role required my current duties of support customers, troubleshooting IOS issues and assisting with store operations as well as more repairing iPhones, mentoring colleagues and managing team goals. I moved into the Genius Bar as a Technical Specialist at Apple Brisbane. In this role I serve 15-20 customers a day in appointments to troubleshoot and solve issues with their Apple Devices. I also work as a front door Genius Bar representative.This role requires a lot of quick thinking, problem solving, empathy and communication. I started at Apple as a Specialist in their Product Zone. This requires understanding customers needs and creating custom solutions for them. I would also work with carrier and operations teams to improve the customer journey.

  In the summer of 2023 I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to intern at Niche Studio with their web developers! In the experience I will be assisting in all parts of the web development process from designing to building to testing. This real world learning with also give me an opportunity to development my skills with technologies such as Wordpress, CSS frameworks and SASS and the overall development process.
