      Analytical/Operations Engineer

Development Coordinator/Engineer - Tarn Field, North Slope Alaska: • Manage the Tarn oil field, a sandstone (turbidite) reservoir, directionally drilled, producing 35,000 BOPD of a paraffinic oil under a miscible gas alternating w/ water injection (MWAG) recovery process. • Coordinate Tarn multi-disciplinary asset team. • Complete final development drilling, implement artificial lift capabilities (hydraulic jet pump and gas lift), and execute reservoir management plan/MWAG flood. • Perform economic evaluation and funding requests (AFE’s) for all projects. Operations/Analytical Engineer – Kuparuk Field, North Slope Alaska: • Responsible for well surveillance and reservoir management in the Kuparuk Field, a multi-zone reservoir under a MWAG flood. • Increased production in my area of responsibility by over 50% through diligent engineering and analysis work (finding by-passed pay and missed reserves from a mature oil field)• Identify and initiate wellwork (stimulation/workovers) and in-fill drilling opportunities. Jan 2005 - Mar 2011
      Senior Petroleum Engineer

Completions Engineer – Piceance Basin / Denver Office (2010 - 2011)• Worked in multi-disciplinary team to target commercial shale development. Specifically, designed completion and testing program. • Responsible for Rulison and SE Parachute Field Operations and Engineering Support (hydraulic fracture designs, completion procedures, operational issues, and problem solving).• Completed evaluation of the coal intervals within our Piceance Basin with recommendations for completing the coals to add positive value and reserves at minimal incremental capitalReservoir Engineer – Powder River Basin / Denver Office (2008 – 2009)• Responsible for economic evaluation of drilling proposals (Aries), gas production projections by area, requests for compression, reserve adjustments, production optimization, and setting yearly budget programs. • Led a team of engineers to evaluate the cementing and related drilling program in the Powder River Basin. Developed a set of recommendations and best practices along with a detailed paper documenting the results of the study. Operations Engineer – Powder River Basin / Gillette Office (2005 – 2008)• Responsible for completion and production operations in the northern area of the Powder River Basin which includes over 1500 Coal Bed Methane (CBM) wells. • Initiated and implemented new highly successful hydraulic sand fracture program in multi-zone CBM area.• Evaluated and implemented several injection projects to facilitate storage/disposal of excessive produced water. Included designing, drilling, and completing an injection well. Helped to implement an innovative dual production /injection well concept. • Developed a strong team environment in my area of responsibility between field operations and engineering to foster improved communications and work flow.
