      Worked as a court clerk full-time in the Juvenile Division. I was dual trained to attend Dependency and Delinquency Court hearings with the assigned judge. I prepped all files before court hearings. Assisted the Judge in the courtroom by taking court notes, administering the oath, marking in evidence and setting future court hearings. Heavy interaction with the public, Juvenile Justice, State Attorney, Public Defender and other court staff. Adhered to strict confidentiality code. Also filled in as Assistant Supervisor when the office did not have one or when the assigned supervisor was out of the office.Left this position after I had my first child. My husband at the time wanted me to quit to stay home with our newborn. Show less
