  Retriever Payment Systems was my first big break in corporate America. I was hired as a database administrator, the first of five original employees. In my five years at Retriever, I calculated residuals, managed the database, managed the team of employees who installed terminals at retail stores, By then the company had grown to 25 employees with another 100 contract/residual commission only salespeople.

  Started with APQC as a database administrator and quickly realized that I could add more value than what I had been tasked to do. Took on supporting the sales team and tracking residuals. A couple years later I advanced into an Associate Project Manager delivering best practice studies on business processes. That role progressed into a Project Manager Role and led to the Knowledge Sharing Network Manager role, when I led the implementation and deployment of APQC's first portal and multiple software deployment project.   At Xpediant Solutions my primary task was to help the company grow. The company had 25 employees and was looking to grow its workforce with qualified JAVA experts up to 40. My role included implementation of several strategies to build brand recognition through thought leadership and networking. During this time I was also a senior consultant in the knowledge management, content management and process design areas. I worked at BP as an Xpediant Consultant primarily in BP's trading department as a business analyst and project manager. In 2010 I was hired by BP. Show less
