The Institute offers two pillars of service, a one-year practical master's program in journalism with the University of Jordan and specialized journalism training programs. For master’s graduation project, I chose to write about the history of Jordanian cinema. This resulted from my interest in film-making and Art Journalism.

      Jan 2012 - Apr 2016

I worked at JMI for about four years as an Associate Director of Training and Projects. In that role, I contributed to the design, organization, and innovation of about 100 programs, courses, conferences, and workshops that addressed different specialized aspects of journalistic work. This work necessitates being able to carry out needs’ assessments, adapt to the needs of learners from different backgrounds, mastery of administrative tasks, working within deadlines, in addition to being able to collaborate and obtain funding from organizations of the international community. The different educational, organizational, and administrative tasks of my work enhanced my academic experiences and constituted an excellent challenge that allowed me to make innovative changes to a traditional work model.
