  Employed as a Catering Accountant responsible for Procurement of provisions dealing with local traders and food inspection,Stock Management and Budgetary control. Also the menu planning and heatlhy diet for various ships and shore establishments. Also employed as the Officers mess manager and accountant and Senior Rates mess manager, Jobs included room bookings, staff employment, planning and the costings of various functions for both these messes for up tp 400 people. In 1997 I was the supervising Officer for the cleaning and the Catering Contract at a shore base and was the Navys' sole Catering specialist with in the base. I was also Responsible for the ordering of all food for British Forces Falkland Islands and the supply of food to 9 ships and 28 out stations up to 850 miles away. This was done by Land, Sea and air transportation. On shipd I was also responsible for the Training of the ships company in Fire fighting and flood control and in chemical warfare. I was the lead on a Navy aircraft carrier on the day to day maintence of all the fire fighting equipment. I also wrote the main action plan for the carrier in the event of a fire or flood. Show less

  Second in command of a Tri service troop of 52 service personell who rotated on a 6 monthly basis. Responsible for the units vehicles, MHE and welfare of the troops.Responsible for Ordering and maintaining stock levels of all food supplies within the current legislation for the Garrison of the Falkland Islands and catering to over 2300 people on a daily basis.The unloading, inspection and quality control of the twice weekly supply flights into the falklands and the montly supply ship. The checking and unpacking of up to 60 containers a month.Provided the guidance to the Command in the correct store procedures, issues, costings and audits.Issued order requests for the respective out stations on a daily basis in accordance with the provision plan provided by the command.Maintained and checked delivery notes/invoices against supplier invoices and ensured all the entries are correctly recorded into the system. Ensured the stocktaking program was adhered to and the monthly order for the three month lead in was produced check and demanded.Constantly monitored day-to-day operations at troop level, maintained daily checks and ensured the tasks were assigned in accordance with organisational standards.   Employed as a Security specialist providing training to the regiment in ECD&i (level4), First Aid and Weapons. I give specialist to arm Training in Security, Search. I am a key part of the SHEF team and building manager. I plan different exercises from Spillage, Fire, First Aid and Security.Training Experience.As a qualified Military Instructor, I also taught varied levels of First Aid from battlefield Trauma to Basic First Aid over 23 years holding military & Civilian recognised qualifications.I am the DCCT system manager which is virtual simulation and custodian of the system at my present unit responsible for repairs and training of the users within the unit, I am also a fully qualified MOD Security Officer. I am reponsible for the day to day running of a Platoon of soldiers looking after welfare issues, training, leave and the day to day administration for the unit . I am have just qualified as a first aid at work trainer and assessor and a TEFL teacher. Show less

  I have been responsible for the training of First aid and Battlefield First aid for the last 26 years to members of the Armed forces. I used to be qualified to Royal Navy Level 3 and Army RMA 2 and on ships i was in charge of first aid parties and assisted in their training. I used to Teach RYA first aid to the Crew and Day Skipper courses. I have just updated my qualifcations and teaching awards to Level 3 Award in Education and Training and assessment and currently working towards Certificate in Education and Training Level 4. I am also studing for the NEBOSH Certificate.I am willing to help other Trainers out to help gain more experience I am able to run and assess the following courses :1.
