  I joined the team as an analyst after completing the internship program at KPMG. I was responsible for the development of the eFactoring System from a mainframe financial system into a J2EE-based web system. I made use of Elixir Reporting Tools to design and developed report templates. I was also the analyst in-charge to liaise with Elixir Technology to resolve issues with the reporting tool.KPMG was constantly involved in the program to nurture and develop young interns to be ready for the real working environment. Being an ex-intern at KPMG myself, I was then tasked to supervise the future interns that were to join KPMG.   I was an application consultant in the team working on the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) contract maintaining and supporting the Work Permit System and WP Online system. As an Application Consultant, I conducted requirements gathering sessions with the users and provided support for the UATs. I was also responsible for following through the whole SDLC process including the implementation and closing of the service requests. I coded and implemented the enhancements in J2EE, developed Structured Query Reporter (SQR) reports with Hyperion SQR Production Reporting and letters with OpenOffice OpenDocument Text (ODT).I was promoted to a module lead within two years. As a Module Lead, I developed system documents after requirements gathering sessions, ensuring the documents are accurate. I was also required to manage project deployments and data migration processes.
