Achievements: • Tasked to develop a new market place on the Isle of Wight, I worked with the Managing Director’s of local businesses to establish a new operational infrastructure there and in the process, establish strong relationships. We were then able to expand our national agreements with major insurance companies onto the Island to form the foundation of the business. • Located, negotiated and jointly managed the relocation of the Portsmouth Branch site to a more visible and customer friendly location, saving the company in rental costs. • Led the Portsmouth Branch to 60% growth in the first 12 months of my tenure from June’10 to June’11 – the highest in the South Central region. • Presenting and leading negotiations at Board and Senior Management levels, to secure new accounts including the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and Hovertravel.• Doubled staff numbers to reflect business growth, promoting productivity through culture of accountability, securing two staff promotions within team. Show less Achievements: • With the University of Chichester managed a project for the Education department to provide low cost car hire for their student’s teaching placements allowing them to expand their network of schools. The project has led to a continuing programme now in its third year. • First appointment as Branch Manager was at Salisbury; managed to reverse the previous 13 month run of negative results to positive results, plus a return to operating profit, from my first month in position, and for every month thereafter, until my appointment to Chichester.
