  I write speeches, punch up proposals, craft corporate mission statements, edit peer-reviewed academic papers, revise cover letters and admission essays, ghostwrite articles, and create compelling website copy. I’ve also written long-form profiles of influential professional men and women and feature copy about food, sport, travel, and fashion. In all cases, I write accessible, elegantly professional language that treats readers with respect. As a working freelance writer, I aim to tell important stories with wit, clarity and persuasion. I like to think I live in the real world; I know how to bridge the gap between eloquent, mechanically correct language and the expectations of actual audiences. To this end, I’ve spearheaded and contributed to large-scale and modest projects for a number of clients, including names you’d recognize in sectors like healthcare, education, philanthropy, and finance.Because I am based in Windsor, I enjoy the advantage of charging Southwestern Ontario rates for Toronto-quality copy.I don’t mean to make a “hard sell,” but young people today are, in many respects, more literate and better educated than any generation in history. Mistakes in public-facing copy – and they are many out there – get noticed, disparaged, and circulated more easily and frequently than ever before. It’s not a good look.   Myndlogic Publishing is an independent boutique publishing firm that produces and distributes original advertising-based glossy magazines throughout Southwestern Ontario. The majority of our publications are dispatched free of charge to demographically targeted homes and business in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.Freeds Image is a semi-annual oversized fashion and business magazine with a circulation of 20,000 copies. Rafih Style is a quarterly affluent lifestyle and transportation magazine with the same circulation. Windsor Body is a quarterly health, wellness, and fitness magazine with a circulation of 80,000 copies. Today’s Real Estate is an occasional real estate listings and news periodical with a circulation of 15,000 copies.I write and edit virtually all original content for our four regular publications, including unattributed advertising and “advertorial” copy, and represent the company in a client-facing role. During my tenure, Myndlogic has also completed “one-off” projects for clients including Valente Real Estate Ltd. and Riley’s. Show less

Mediaduo represents several high-profile businesses and professional corporations in Southwestern Ontairo, including the Rafih Auto Group, the Windsor-Essex County Sports Hall of Fame, Ciociaro Club, Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards, the Windsor Essex Community Foundation, and many more.As Copy Chief, I am responsible for virtually all of the company’s written output. I write and edit all copy and maintain ongoing dialogues with clients to ensure that Mediaduo represents them accurately and attractively. As of September 2015, I keep an office at Mediaduo-Myndlogic and handle the companies’ writing and editing in a flexible “at large” role in addition to my work at the University of Windsor.
