      Responsible for leading and training of a small knit specialist community in support of maritime intelligence organisations both at sea and ashore. Assist the Royal Navy's training authorities in the improvement of operational capability of sonar operator's Fleet wide with particular regard to operational awareness and experience during and prior to deploying. Responsible for the concept, development, procurement and HCI design of bespoke sonar systems with the objective of creating pull through to the Fleet. Liaising closely with industry, offering assistance in the procurement and upgrade of Royal Navy sonar systems. As the senior sonar specialist liaise very closely with senior management with regard to providing underwater environment, tactical and sonar equipment advice on the threat nations as well as constantly monitoring submarine acoustic signature and noise reduction processes.
