  Soccer coach

  Acting as camp leader my role was to manage 7 camps across Austin, Texas. This included, under the supervision, control and critique of the Regional Director of Soccer Programs, conducting soccer activities with groups in public, private, or volunteer agencies or recreation facilities. Organise, facilitate and promote soccer activities, taking into account the needs and interests of individual members, in camp settings, childcare facilities, afterschool programs and soccer organizations. As quite an autonomous role, other duties would include:- Appointing each coach an age group, identifying the right coach for the right demographic.- Organising children’s equipment to be delivered on time such as T shirts, bottles and soccer balls.- Organising signing on forms, contact details for each child, time that each parent should pick up a child and to also obtain emergency contact details and medical history in case of an emergency.- Plan appropriate and effective sessions for the coaches to deliver.- Make sure the children have FUN but learn at the same time.
