      -Advise the maneuver commander and fire support coordinator on the proper employment of fire support assets and munitions.-Plan, direct, and coordinate the employment of all fire support assets available to the battalion.-Recommend Fire Support Coordination Measures to support company and battalion missions.-Ensure that supporting arms are integrated with the scheme of maneuver.-Train and mentor Marines of the fire support teams to properly plan, direct, and coordinate the employment of all fire support assets available to the companies.-Establish and maintain efficient lines of communication and disseminate relevant coordination and deconfliction information to higher, adjacent, and supporting units.-Cross train the fire support teams in the current target acquisition designation/equipment and assigned communications systems. Show less -Provide effective instruction and demonstration in the field for entry level infantry skills to Officer Candidates using the techniques and procedures required by Officer Candidate School.-Conduct evaluations of Officer Candidates during tactics based events on the application of infantry skills taught by platform instruction.-Evaluate events in accordance with standards set forth, providing timely, accurate, and thorough feedback for the company staff (if so required) on individual candidates performance.-Supervise the conduct of the Candidate Company during field training exercises.-Maintain good order and discipline from the time the candidates begin field training until they are turned over to their company staff.-Maintain the serviceability of all tactics related courses within the training area of Officer Candidate School.-Complete additional tasks assigned by the Tactics Officer as required.
