  I currently coordinate the marketing department at The Cedars, including, all of our social and digital media sites, in conjunction with creating blogs and working closely with our digital marketing team to develop new creatives and ads for optimal occupancy. I manage video and photoshoots and all on and offsite marketing events here at the Cedars, including The Hoffman Center, The Sam L. Cohen Households, The Osher Inn and The Atrium. This includes working with our team, residents, graphic design company, print companies and any needed outside vendors. I also coordinate all renovation projects for move in/out transitions within the independent living part of our community. In addition I am part of our senior living advisory team and conduct community tours and work with families during the sales process including assistance with closings. We offer state of the art long term care, assisted living, rehab and independent living right here on the beautiful coast of Portland Maine. My responsibilities include: volunteer management, recruitment and training. I have experience in the coordination of large events and funtions in relation to my role. I am an active member of the PAVA group (Portland Area of Volunteer Administrators) and I have international training through the CVA (Certified Council of Volunteer Administration). In addition I have a background in psychology and behavior health sciences. I am quite knowledgable in regards to working with non profits and I have experience in grant writing/funding. I also have extensive training in crisis management and MANDT. I truly pride myself in the placement and cultivation of a successful experince for all of our volunteers and residents here at The Cedars, while maintaining the ethics and values that our community has maintained for over 90 years.
