  Worked with a team to test the compatibility of the instruments (GC/LC/MS) and the updated operating software integrated with latest drivers. Assisted the chemist engineer to evaluate the new instrumental product in chemical analysis. Carried out analysis and evaluations of successive version of software to ensure that basic problems are fully solved and that the product is sufficiently robust to avoid future problems due to expected variations in component/environmental parameters.   My doctoral research focus on the pharmaceuticals analysis with instrumentation and chemometrics, mainly including three parts:1. Determination of counterfeit and adulterations of pharmaceutical tablets with rapid, non-destructive Raman spectroscopy. Initially 2D profiles discrimination, and 3D mapping image analysis and pattern recognition furtherly. 2. Simultaneously quantitation of active ingredients in the tablets using liquid chromatography tandem mass spectroscopy (LC/MS). A new ambient mass technique (DART-TOF-MS) was also used for quantitation which was never reported before. 3. Study on the drug stability and degradation mechanism with online UV-Vis spectra method. Multivariate curve analysis-alternating least squares method (MCR-ALS) was adopted to find the intermediates and its pure spectra during the process. The conclusions were validated both by the Density functional theory (DFT) theoretically and HPLC offline experimentally. Show less
