  I am a freelance translator with over 10 years of experience in the business.I have native fluency in both Swahili and English and do translations in both directions. Although I primarily work with translation agencies, I work with individual clients too.

  I am excited to announce the launch of KWS language services which is really a culmination of my life's work. For close to 17 years, I have been providing translations services as KWS translations while also serving as a college professor. In line with my life-long goal of creating a self-paced Swahili online course I launched Learn Swahili Now in September of last year. The launch of KWS language Services, will allow me to merge these two products, allowing us to be the most reliable link to your East African audience. We will continue offering services such as document translations and proofing, localization services and of course Swahili courses. I look forward to continuing to serve you at a higher level.   As part of my Graduate Associateship, I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of subjects ranging from various fields of history such as World, African and African American history. Thus, even though my primary field is African history, I am well equipped to teach other fields of history. Additionally, my experience spans beyond the physical classroom. I have also designed and taught 4 online classes as part of my Associateship. . I was responsible for designing and instructing a number of swahili classes for the African American and African Studies department at Ohio State University.
