PROJECT #1 :Enhanced Packet Scheduler Client : NSNRole : Developer.Project Description:Enhanced Packet Scheduler (EPS) feature facilitates service differentiation to the mobile users based on the QoS attributes (Traffic Class, THP and ARP). EPS is a licensed feature and enabled separately on BSC and SGSN. This feature used QoS attributes and accordingly decides the priority of radio resource scheduling of applications running on particular mobile. Responsibilities:Involved in writing design document for the same.Coding and Testing.Responsible for writing user manuals for different commands used for debugging purposes.Issue fixing.PROJECT #2 : Packet Control Unit Client :NSNRole :Developer.Project Description:PCU is plug-In in every BCSU. PCU is located at BSC.PCU provides a logical and physical interface for packet data traffic. Also, PCU is responsible forTransfer of RLC block.Control the GPRS radio resources. Segmentation and reassembly of LLC frameResponsibilities:I have worked in BSSGP-(BSS GPRS Application Protocol),Relay and NS(network service) module of PCU which is used for Delivering routing & Quality of Service related information between BSS and SGSNBug Fixing and adding enhancements.Involved in writing design document of new CR (change request).Coding and Testing.Project3#: Multipoint GB interface Client : NSNRole : Developer.Project Description Multipoint GB feature provides with the capabilities to connect one PCU to several SGSNs, thus providing the system with enhanced resilience and with the possibility of equalizing the traffic load of the different SGSNs. This way, different users in the same PCU could be connected to different SGSNs, according to their load conditions. Moreover, if a SGSN fails the users connected to them could be transferred to another SGSN connected to the PCU, thus making the system more robust against arising errors. Show less
