      Roles and Responsibilities:• Formulation of Policy Regarding Transportation, summarizing findings, creating reports (including charts and graphs), maintaining statistical information databases, keeping hard files of surveys, and performing administrative duties, such as scheduling, word processing, Noting, and Drafting.• Project approval, Release of GNCTD share towards the project funds, Various correspondences related to MRTS and RRTS projects, Parliamentary Questions, PGMS/CPGRAM, RTI, Court Cases (Litigation), LG listening post, etc. • My current project area is related to MRTS/RRTS i.e., DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited)- which is a Joint venture of Govt. of NCT of Delhi and GoI, and NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation)-which is a Joint Venture company of GoI and Haryana, Rajasthan, UP and Delhi formed for implementing the RRTS. For improving regional mobility in the NCR region, projects of linking cities in the NCR region across three major axes: Delhi –Meerut, Delhi –Panipat, and Delhi-Alwar are under consideration of the government of India and the State Government.• Financing and Structuring of MRTS Projects-The Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) is an ambitious project that aims at providing a non-polluting and efficient rail-based transport system, properly integrated with the road transport system.• Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) -To address the issues Region Planning Board (NCRPB) recommended eight Regional Rapid Transit (RRTS) Corridors to connect various important towns of NCR with the high-speed rail-based mass commuter transit system.
