      Psychotherapist In Private Practice

Being human and living in this world is, in my opinion, difficult. A lot of the time, we aren't necessarily suffering from a sickness or disorder; rather, life is chaotic and confusing, and because we aren't born with a manual, we frequently feel overwhelmed and unable to cope with the situations we find ourselves in. This can lead us to feel depressed and physically unwell. Society also places pressure on us to be or live a certain way, which can add to the stress we face. Life is messy and unpredictable at times; it can lead to us feeling disconnected from others and lacking in passion and meaning. My approach to therapy is a collaborative process in which I try to immerse myself in your experience and your world to gain a better understanding of how it is for you. I then work to support, question, guide, and, when necessary, challenge your views so you can come to understand why you feel and act the way you do. Helping you to understand yourself gives you the power to change your life by making decisions and choices that are right for you. Show less
