      Manager

After an 18 year career in state government, driven by a desire for continuous growth and learning, I sought opportunities outside government. My objective was to find an organization that matched my service orientation, professional interests, and values. Having been a client of KPMG, I was afforded an opportunity to witness the KPMG staff demonstrate a focus on customer service and professional values that matched my own. Consequently, I sought and obtained a position with KPMG. I joined the firm as part of the People & Change service line. Given my state government experience I have been able to effectively bridge to other service lines, specifically with the State and Local Government line of business. My responsibilities and accomplishments include: Leveraged existing business relationships and high value service delivery to support efforts within an existing engagement to secure a 5 year contract extension. Served as a member of the pursuit team that developed a winning proposal for System Integration/Technical Advisory Services (SI/TAS) with the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) valued at $16.3M. Served as the Project Director for the aforementioned SI/TAS engagement  Lead the Tennessee Account team to prepare the account structure for transitioning to “Premier” account status; this included working with account leadership to establish a vision and objectives for the account and lead staff in the completion of activities to support these objectives. Served as a Health and Human Services Subject Matter Professional for a number of engagements; including multiple projects within the State of Tennessee, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and administrative entities within Florida’s Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
