  In my current role, I’m responsible of diverse R&D tasks, customer activities and project management in a cybersecurity area.My current research topics are situational awareness, security monitoring and risk analysis – applied especially to critical infrastructures and industrial internet. I actively seek opportunities to apply research results to solve customers’ security challenges. Therefore, I collaborate with security companies and potential customers to define and implement realistic and useful use cases.As a project manager, I define project objectives, schedules, and look after budgets. I also make close collaboration with project partners in order to ensure information sharing and best possible results. Moreover, I supervise master students.Project preparation is one of my duties and I’m familiar with several instruments, i.e., Tekes, Academy of Finland, Eureka and H2020. Thus, I have preparation experience in Finnish and European level alike. Show less I participated in national and international research projects alike. My research contained information security, smart spaces/ubiquitous computing, and software reliability. Research results were published in several scientific conferences and journals. Furthermore, I applied the gained expertise to industry in national and international contract projects.I attended EU and ITEA project preparations, including consortium building, state of art analysis, work package definition, and budged allocation. Moreover, preparations required communication with VTT’s customers, potential project partners, and the funding agency of Finland (Tekes). Show less
