Operation: 1. Crude TCS Purification: It consists of three distillation columns and two Boron absorption beds which are interconnected with one another. This section is used to purify the crude Trichlorosilane (TCS) produced by chlorination reaction. It separates heavy impurities (STC, PCl3) and light impurities (BCl3, DCS and Organo silicon compounds) from crude with the purity of TCS 99.99999999999% 2. Recovered TCS Purification:It has only one column to separate the Silicon tetrachloride (STC), Dichlorosilane (DCS) and HCl from the recovered TCS of CVD reaction. 3. DCS recovery:It has one distillation column and two DCS reactors. Reactors are used to convert DCS and STC to TCS through ion exchange reaction. Column is used to separate the converted TCS from the light and heavy impurities. Show less
