As you will be acting as a representative of an airline and usually the first member of staff a customer will come into contact with at an airport, employers will be particularly keen for you to demonstrate these skills at interview.2-Communication skills: These are essential in order to relay flight details to passengers. You will be responsible for letting them know where their flight will be departing from and if there have been any last minute changes to the flight.3-The ability to stay calm under pressure: You may be faced with complaints or customers who have been delayed. As a representative of the airline, you will be expected to deal with this in a calm and professional manner.4-Problem solving skills: These skills will help you deal with customer queries or complaints in a helpful and efficient way. You may need to help customers find alternative routes to their destination.5-IT skills: Many of your duties will be computerised. 6-Organisation skills: You will need to have good organisation skills to deal with customers quickly and efficiently, especially in busy periods Show less If you think your bag has been lost or accidentally taken by someone else in the Airport, contact the Lost and Found Office ground floor (Arrivals), with the baggage receipt that was attached to your ticket. The staff at the office will initiate proceedings for baggage retrieval. If your airline deems it necessary, you will be provided with a kit containing essential items and baggage reclaim will be carried out.If your airline uses the World Tracer baggage tracing system, you can visit their web site to use this system, enter your reference number and surname for information regarding your baggage.By digiting the according PIR (Property Irregularity Report) number and your surname, you will be constantly updated on your property recovery status:World Tracer baggage tracing systemDelays and damageBefore exiting the Baggage reclaim area, please report to Lost & Found Office for regular claim lodging.The Passenger Rights Charter provides for compensation in the case of ruined, damaged, lost or delayed baggage on a flight operated by an airline.
