I arrange speakers to attend the group discussing various different topics, organise trips out, complete the group accounts, I'm the group's main contact and I promote the group in the wider community to try and raise awareness of bipolar disorder.

  I provide support to pupils with mental health problems, anger management problems, learning difficulties, pupils who self-harm and those with low self-esteem. I facilitate a number of groups within school and aim to promote positive mental health. My role involves liaising with a large number of outside agencies, many of which I work very closely with.

  To carry out the cognitive assessments of children and young people and to feed the results back to the parents of the child, with recommendations of what may help.I audited the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Pathway and fed the results back to my colleagues at CAMHS. I was also involved in the ASD assessment process. I completed sensory preferences assessments with families and young people and again fed back my findings to them.   I deliver individual CBT to adults as well as children and young people in the North West area. In addition, I undertake freelance work which involves working indivdually or with groups of students from various schools within this area. I also provide training to professionals around mental health issues, delivering training which is tailored to the individual needs of the school or college.Each week I am currently employed at Lostock Hall Academy, Albany Academy, Penwortham Priory Academy, St Michael’s CoE Secondary School, Moor Park School and Sixth Form, Bishop Rawstorne CoE Secondary School and New Heights High Schools.
