  Coming up to 3 years with Hays in Wellington coincided with a promotion to Business Director, based on the success of the teams I manage and developing the people from with in our business at Hays. In what has been a great journey, we've doubled the team and revenue for the Wellington office in this time and won the ANZ team of the year, based on both performance and culture. I've also remained hands on and externally focused, continuing to develop relationships with clients and candidates in Aotearoa, taking on broad remits and enjoying the opportunity of the potential there is the capital and further afield. My current focus is to build out our Cyber Security recruitment practice in NZ and I am enjoying working with professionals in this area whilst continuing to develop my own understanding. Show less After a successful 7 years recruiting for IT across the East of England, I embarked on the next chapter in my Hays career, taking the move to our NZ business to develop Hays Marketing & Policy recruitment teams, as well as lead an experienced Technology recruitment team in Wellington. Success in these areas subsequently led to additional responsibility of our Construction and Property, Trades and HR recruitment businesses.The team cover contract, temporary and permanent recruitment across Wellington and the lower regions of the North Island working with exceptional candidates and a wide range of clients in the private sector and public services.Whilst leading the team I also remain hands-on, recruiting for senior roles for the Wellington region. With 9 years industry experience and having helped 300+ professionals progress along their career path I've been able to adapt my skills to the kiwi market, favouring long term mutually beneficial relationships with candidates and clients alike.
