  I work in the Investment banking due diligence team, the role requires me to: • Work with teams across the EMEA region to complete due diligence on block trades, IPOs and leverage finance transactions.• Examine complex deal structures to identify which entities directly face the bank.• Establish whether investment advisors have capacity to act on behalf of beneficial owners; through examination of legal documents such as prospectuses and investment advisory agreements.• Consider whether clients have any risky touch points that require enhanced due diligence.• Examine a mixture of constitutional documents and share registers to determine who holds legal title and or in some instances who ultimately derives the economic benefit from the entity.• Analyse representation letters to determine whether clients have provided sufficient warranties.• Consider whether the scope of the deal/parties requires compliance with international regulations such as US FACTA or EMIR.
