Manages compliance and legal issues with staff attorneys. Develops numerous safety initiatives to promote fire safety for state's residents and visitors. Works closely with other state agencies including Public Safety, EMS, EMA, EMS, Homeland Security and others. Partners closely with Ohio Fire Chiefs Association and Ohio Emergency Response Plan. As a member of Department of Commerce, collaborates with and supports other Commerce divisions and administrative team. Staffs Ohio EOC position as needed during major statewide emergencies.
